Rowton Castle Wedding Photography
Rowton Castle Wedding Photography | Amy + Richard
I’ll be brutally honest, sometimes I find blogging quite hard work. I’m not the most eloquent of writers and frankly my two fingered typing is an embarrassment. However sometimes I love revisiting a wedding I photographed a few weeks ago and Amy and Richard’s is one such wedding. There’s a timeless beauty to this wedding and indeed to Amy herself and it was an absolute pleasure to be the one capturing it all.
This was my first time doing the honours of Rowton Castle Wedding Photography. I’ve been luck enough to photograph at numerous venues up and down the country, seldom photographing the same venue more than once but I would genuinely welcome the opportunity to revisit Rowton Castle – it’s beautiful and impeccably run. I’m immensely flattered that images from this wedding are already gracing their website.
All weddings are big family events but perhaps this was even more so as Amy’s Dad and step-Dad are two of the owners of Rowton Castle – no pressure on me as the photographer then – gulp! The joke is that Steve and Bryan couldn’t have been more relaxed and they both made me feel incredible welcome in their extended home (I don’t mean that the castle is an extension built on to the side of their home, that would be odd, I think you know what I mean but just in case there was any confusion – glad I cleared that one up!). A massive thanks to both of them and all at Rowton.
Amy & Richard are an amazing couple and I think as I said in my blog post of their pre-wedding portraits they really encapsulate what young love is all about. Their love for each other is palpable and I don’t think there was a guest at the wedding who wasn’t moved by their devotion to each other. Many congratulation to both of you, it won’t be long until your album will be ready – I can’t wait for you to see it.
So just a few quick mentions and thank yous before I let you get on with the pictures:
Make-Up: Nichola Witcombe-Tant | Be Beautiful Too
Flowers: Wendy Shaw | Floristry Commission
Hair: Shelly Cox | The Amber Rooms
