Rock My Wedding | Featured blog post
For me, perhaps the biggest reward for being a wedding photographer is when I hear just how much my couples have loved their photographs and how in their eyes I have succeeding in capturing their day as they remembered it. It doesn’t get any better than that. That’s what drives me on, it’s that that makes me want to be a better wedding photographer.
Sometimes as a bit of ‘Brucey Bonus’ a wedding that I have photographed gets picked up by one of the national wedding blogs and featured. It’s a lovely treat for my couples, to have 1000s of people looking at the images from their wedding and the lovely comment that they leave on these blogs.
I have to confess that it’s also a wonderful treat for me. I appreciate that it may not exactly be my name up in lights but it’s still a massive thrill for me. It puts a spring in my stride for the rest of the week! Photography can sometime be a bit of an isolated profession but to have your work featured on these blogs makes me feel part of a much larger community. It’s wonderful to read the lovely comments about my photography.
This time, it was the wedding of Anna & Ant at Goldbrick House in Bristol. Rock My Wedding blog is one of the most popular national wedding blogs around and an absolute ‘must-visit-blog’ for any bride-to-be. I can’t thanks Charlotte at Rock My Wedding enough for featuring this gorgeous, intimate wedding.
