Amy & Richard

Amy and Richard have to be one of the cutest couples I’ve had the joy to photograph recently.  I really don’t mean that to come across as patronising in any way whatsoever, far from it. Their obvious love for each other really reminds me of what it’s like to be young and in love – that terrific all enveloping and all encompassing feeling.  The excitement and joy of everything that lies ahead.

To have found the person who’s hand you’re going to hold, both metaphorical and literally on this amazing journey – not just on  your wedding day but for the weeks, years and decades that follow – well that is pretty special indeed.

I had a lovely afternoon spent with Amy and Richard showing me around the grounds of Rowton Castle where they’re having their wedding reception later this month.  I’d never been to Rowton Castle before but now I have I’m even more excited about photographing their wedding there.

Here are a few of the pictures that we took while having a little walk around the grounds of the castle.  Amy and Richard were such a  delight to be with, I was so happy that they were both completely in sync with my relaxed and unobstrusive style of photography – nothing embarrassing, just gentle, natural portraits.
