Kirsten & Ant | Pre-Wedding Portraits

Kirsten & Ant are getting married at The Tythe Barn in Oxfordshire in August.  We met up for a few of hours one evening a couple of weeks ago for some relaxed, informal pre-wedding portraits of the two of them.

Ant & Kirsten had arranged for us to have access to a private garden that they often walk their dog near. WOW.  Even a couple of weeks later I’m still struggling to get my head around the fact that it was a private garden .  It was genuinely more impressive than a lot of National Trust gardens I’ve visited.  It was an absolute delight to have free run of such an amazing location and to have it all to ourselves.  To cap it all the weather was supposed to be pretty crappy and wet all day BUT we got a splash of evening sun – it’s strange how elated I can get at such an ordinary event as some sunshine.

Kirsten & Ant – thank you for being amazing and for trusting me enough to be yourselves while this virtual stranger rolled around on the ground in the process of taking your pictures.  I can’t wait until your wedding.

I love these pictures, they really epitomise the type of photographs I love taking and that I’m drawn to – relaxed, natural, beautiful
