Ludlow Castle Wedding
Ludlow Castle Wedding | Sarah & Dan
“We absolutely love them!”
Some weddings have a little, this one had a lot-tle and I loved every last bit of it.
We had:
– The most amazing couple, who had even gone as far as to fix the date of their wedding around my availability. No pressure there then!
– The most amazing Jenny Packham dress. I always think you can tell a truly great dress by how fab is looks just on the hanger. If it looks amazing on the hanger it’s going to look awesome on the bride. I wasn’t wrong, Sarah looked utterly stunning.
– Handsome Dan. Surely every bride deserve a handsome groom and Sarah most certainly got hers!
– Torrential rain and I’m not talking about the odd shower here and there, this was the ‘soak-you-to-the-skin-in-seconds’ variety. Thankfully it didn’t really spoil the day at all and just made us all the more grateful when we did eventually get some sun.
– Some of the most personal and wonderful wedding favours ever. Dan had hand-made some flavoured oils, a different flavour infusion for each table. Mmmmmm.
– Food. Food glorious food…and boy was this food glorious. The food was courtesy of Goose On The Loose and had to be the best food I’ve tasted at any wedding. The head chef had rightfully been described to me a a female Heston Blumenthal. Watch your back Heston!
– Castle ruins. The ruins of Ludlow Castle provided an amazing backdrop to the wedding. I think this was the first time a tipi allowed to be put up in the grounds.
– A groom who provided us with a textbook example of jumping in the air and banging your heels together!!!!!!
– An Artisan Pizza company to satisfy those late night munchies.
– Bespoke cocktails invented just for the occasion.
– Magic.
– Amazing, heartfelt speeches.
– Towers of cheese and pies.
– Silent Discos.
-Fire pits.
-Laughter.
-Dancing.
-Love.
But at the end of the day the most important thing we had was a boy and a girl who loved each other dearly and wanted to celebrate this love with all their friends and family.
This is the story of Sarah & Dan’s Ludlow Castle Wedding, a huge congratulation to both of them.
I am slightly ashamed to admit that it’s taken me so long to blog this amazing wedding, so long in fact that I’ve even had time to design their wedding albums.
I always bang on about how much I love the printed image, never more so than in my fine art wedding albums. Truly stunning albums. I thought it might be interesting to show you a few pictures of them here. Enjoy!

Daniel McCready - Omg fantastic! Id easily say booking our wedding around you was the beat move we made! If we hadn't we would not of had the images memories you captured and portrayed in the way we do! The photos are stunning and you are amazing! There are things we saw from the photos that were sublime and moments you froze that we would never of seen and i doubt many other photographers would of been able to get. I think its definitely a fine proud moment when someone who go's to weddings on an almost nonstop basis says the things you have said about ours is truly amazing!
Angela Holdsworth - A truly amazing day captured in the most beautiful perfect way by a very talented passionate photographer. A top professional that added an extra dimension and captured an amazing wedding day to perfection. If the food was Heston Blumenthal you must be the modern day David Bailey, absolutely top class. Thank you for an album full of beautiful memories created and captured so they will never fade.
Michel Videographer Marbella - Really amazing work, congratulations from Spain!!
Alex Miller - Ah man, love your work so much Brett!! Really enjoyed looking through this set!
