Hampton Court House Wedding
Hampton Court House Wedding
Wedding venues should really be like your children – you shouldn’t really have favourites. But I’ve got a bit of a confession to make (no not about which of my children is my favourite), I’ve got a ‘venue crush’ on Hampton Court House. I only photographed one Hampton Court House wedding last year and am already lucky enough to have another booked for the end of this year but I just can’t get it out of my mind.
It’s hard to put my finger on exactly why I so love Hampton Court House as a wedding venue. These no arguing that it’s a little knocked around the edges but I think that’s just it, that’s why it’s so appealing. Hampton Court House isn’t perfectly pristine, it feels like it’s lived a bit and has a few stories to tell. I think in fashion circles it might even be described as a little shabby chic. That’s certainly not to say that if you have a Hampton Court House wedding it won’t be beautiful, romantic and even a little bit grand. It just has character and charm that is often lacking form other venues. After all, how many venues are they where, as you’re getting married, you can glance outside to see the deer gently going about their business in the park that its backs onto – just hoe gloriously romantic is that? As such I think it attracts a particular sort of couple, fashionable, stylish and easy going and not to forget very romantic.

Somerset wedding gal - Beautiful – even that last one with the dark grey (potentially foreboding looking) sky – the place looks stunning.
