St Paul’s Cathedral Wedding Photography
It would be fair to say that the night before you photograph a wedding at St Paul’s Cathedral you don’t get a lot of sleep, the sense that this is a BIG occasion is palpable. Not just a big event for the bride and groom, Susie and Henry, but also for me as a photographer. As wedding photography goes, it doesn’t get much bigger than St Pauls Cathedral wedding photography. My mantra for the day was very much something like ‘keep calm Brett, don’t stuff this one up’ – not very Zen I admit but it certainly kept my mind on the job in hand.
While it’s a little late for a traditional ‘sneak peak’ of their wedding at St Paul’s Cathedral, I wanted to be able to share a few images for Susie & Henry and indeed their friends and family (I look forward to doing a full blog post about this amazing wedding once the bride and groom have had a chance to see all their pictures). I remember from my own wedding just how exited I was waiting to see the pictures, it’s so nice to be able to see a few pictures while the day’s events are still fresh in your memory.
So, Susie and Henry, I hope these few images will be just enough to keep your excitement bubbling away until you get to see all your images. I could tell immediate at your pre-wedding portrait session how great you wedding pictures would be, you were so easy and relaxed with each other despite this relative stranger rolling around on the ground and sticking his camera in your face. You are truly and genuinely in love and you never let the occasion of getting married at St Paul’s Cathedral overshadow your day and your love for each other and that is no mean feat. Many many congratulation to both of you.
