Thanks for visiting my website.  I am a Bristol photographer specialising in wedding photography and family portraiture.  Although I am a Wedding Photographer in Bristol, I cover weddings throughout the UK and frequently find myself in Wiltshire, The Cotswolds, London and further afield.

My style of photography is natural and relaxed; I’m certainly not a photographer who is going to ask you do anything embarrassing in order to get a particular shot.  My aim is to provide you with a beautiful set of wedding photographs that reflect your characters and personalities, telling the story of your wedding as you remembered it.

Whilst I want to document your day, I also want to take beautiful photographs of you and for you.  In order to do this, I do set up images to create better compositions and to take advantage of places where the light is outstanding but the goal is always to create situations that look natural. I want images with a genuine feel.

The strength of my work comes from my use of natural light in all its different shapes, strengths, colours and sizes; window light, backlight, skylight and outdoors shade. I want to capture you in beautiful, flattering light that softly wraps around you or gentle directional light that accentuates the beauty of your dress and the flow of your hair.

I also love photographing bridal fashion shoots and have been fortunate enough to have these featured in many of the national wedding magazines including; Wedding, Perfect Wedding, Wedding Flowers. It’s amazing how many of my techniques and style from these shoots work their way into my wedding photography.  What bride doesn’t want to look and feel like a model on her wedding day!

I love and embrace all that technology has to offer yet I still believe that that a wedding album is the best way to enjoy your wedding photos. A wedding album is also quite probably the best way to preserve your images and the memories associated with them. I have searched far and wide to source the fine art album wedding albums that I offer. They are leather bound and are exquisite; they really need to be seen to be appreciated.  Each one is uniquely designed by me and approved by you.  What better way for you and your family to relive your day.
